I have worked as a Jungian psychotherapist and analyst for 20 years, providing one-to-one sessions with individuals of all ages from 18 to 80+.   My workplace is a private confidential consulting room in South Farnham.

Farnham is situated in west Surrey, close to north-east Hampshire. It is accessible from areas such as Guildford, Woking, Camberley, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Alton, Haslemere and Godalming.

I offer an open-ended service to clients. This may be a few sessions, or longer term where more continuing support is needed.  Jungian work goes deep and can be transformative. Once-weekly sessions are available, or 2 or 3-times weekly analysis where appropriate.

ABOUT PSYCHOTHERAPY

We each have the capacity to heal ourselves and to feel more whole and fulfilled in life.  Psychotherapy can help you to understand yourself, and allow you to reach hidden reserves that may currently feel inaccessible. It can address many psychological or mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression or relationship issues and enable you to feel better about your life, and to realise your potential.

In psychotherapy you can speak about whatever is troubling you, where you feel stuck, what you wish to change. Together in a special relationship we look into your present life situation, and talk of your childhood experiences, losses, and past traumae.

We talk about your dreams, often the best direct source of psychological healing. Dr C G Jung, Swiss founder of analytical psychology, laid great store by dreams, knowing they reveal through symbols the workings of the unconscious, offering a mirror reflecting our present circumstances.

As an analytical psychologist, I have a particular interest in imagination, fantasy, dreams and creativity, which can help bring about psychological change. In therapy we use images from stories, myths, fairy tales, alchemy, and the arts to assist and amplify the work of psyche.  Symbolic meanings reveal paths of psychological change, with the potential leading towards inner spiritual transformation. Psychotherapy is a search for healing of the soul.
